Dance/NYC Coronavirus Dance Relief Fund (New York City)
The purpose of the funding initiative is to mitigate the growing impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak on individual freelance dance workers and dance making organizations based in the metropolitan New York City area, particularly financial losses incurred due to the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and the social restriction measures implemented to contain the disease. Applications currently closed and will reopen on April 10.
The Dance Union Podcast NYC Dancers Relief Fund (COVID-19) (New York City)
This Fund will offer urgent relief to freelance dance artist that have suffered financial losses due to the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and the government enforced social restrictions.
Emergency Funds for Undocumented Youth and Families During COVID-19 (New York, NY)
This emergency fund is to support New York City undocumented youth and families whose livelihoods are being affected by COVID-19. Whether it’s from a decline in business for street vendors or being laid-off in domestic and restaurant jobs. Funds are currently exhausted and subjected to more donations.
GoFundMe: Funds to Support Performers Affected by Covid-19
This fundraiser aims to provide funds for performers in Philadelphia, New York City, and New Jersey who will not be able to make ends meet without these opportunities.
Indie Theater Fund Rapid Relief GRANTS due to Covid19 (New York City)
Rapid relief grants of up to $500 will be awarded to support the theater community, prioritizing the consortium of companies, venues, and individuals working in NYC independent theater (Off-Off-Broadway in theater houses of 99 seats or less), operating with budgets under $250,000.

An online music festival and fundraiser where all proceeds will provide performance grants to New York City musicians whose freelance careers have been impacted by COVID-19.
Local 802 Musicians’ Emergency Relief Fund
The Local 802 Musicians’ Emergency Relief Fund is a non-profit 501(c)(3) administered by the Musicians’ Assistance Program (MAP). A New York State licensed social worker provides confidential social services to members and their families. It is funded by the Musicians’ ERF and administered by the Actors Fund.

NYC Small Business Services: Assistance & Guidance for Businesses Impacted Due to Novel Coronavirus (New York City)
The City will provide relief for small businesses across the City seeing a reduction in revenue because of COVID-19. Businesses with fewer than 100 employees who have seen sales decreases of 25% or more will be eligible for zero interest loans of up to $75,000 to help mitigate losses in profit. The City is also offering small businesses with fewer than 5 employees a grant to cover 40% of payroll costs for two months to help retain employees.

Actors Fund Entertainment Assistance Program
The Actors Fund provides services and financial support to entertainment professionals facing personal or work-related problems. It is also a conduit for emergency financial assistance in times of pressing need or in response to catastrophic events.
Alliance of Artists Communities Emergency Relief Programs
In the event of an emergency, the Alliance can offer support for artists by connecting them with our diverse network of residency programs across the country. By providing the time, space, and support that residencies offer, artists can focus on their work, reflect, and renew their creative practice during an especially challenging time.
American Documentary COVID-19 Artist Emergency Fund
If you’re an independent documentarian, apply for this rapid response fund. American Documentary is giving out grants of up to $500 for documentarians impacted by COVID-19.
Anonymous Was A Woman Emergency Relief Grant
This special grant allows women-identifying artists to apply for up to $2,500 for financial hardships from loss of income or opportunity as a direct result of the crisis.

Artists in any discipline who has been impacted by COVID19-related cancellations and closures may apply for assistance from this relief fund.
Artist Relief Tree
This fund is intended to help those pursuing careers as artists (of any type). If you fit this description and your income has been directly impacted by the COVID-19 health crisis – and you are in need of short-term, immediate financial assistance – Artist Relief Tree would like to help. They will disburse funds in the amount of $250 per person, on a first-come-first-served basis. They will also be accepting donations indefinitely.
Arts and Culture Leaders of Color Emergency Fund
This emergency fund can provide up to $200 for people of color that are either working artist or art administration and are affected by COVID-19.
Behind the Scenes Grant
Behind the Scenes will accept applications from anyone who has been hospitalized with Covid-19 and is in financial need. You may be eligible for a grant if you currently reside in the United States or Canada and have earned your living for at least five years in the entertainment technology industry. This means that your major source of income is from your work in this industry, which includes being directly involved with production: behind the scenes in any type of performance venue, or behind the camera, or on the road. It also includes working companies who are directly involved in supplying entertainment technology products and services such as dealers, manufacturers, production companies, consultants, and design firms. Performing artists are not eligible.
The Blues Foundation HART Fund
The Blues Foundation Handy Artists Relief Trust Fund is available to Blues musicians and their families who are in financial need due to a broad range of health concerns.
Carnegie Fund for Authors
The Carnegie Fund for Authors awards grants to published authors who are in need of emergency financial assistance as a result of illness or injury to self, spouse, or dependent child, or who has had some other misfortune that has placed the applicant in pressing and substantial pecuniary need.

Craft Emergency Relief Fund
Are you a United States-based craft artist looking for emergency funds? You must have been involved in craft-making (there’s a definition of “craft making” on the site) for at least three years before your emergency and you must be making a majority of your income from your art. Visit the site to learn more about eligibility to apply to this fund.
The Creator Fund
ConvertKit has established a fund to help creators in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have already received more applications than they have funding, but encourage creators to still apply.
Dietl Art Handlers Assistance
Due to COVID-19 many art technicians are unemployed and in need of financial support. These technicians are often artists. Dietl has created a platform to show these artists’ work to be purchased directly from their studios.
Disabled Creator and Activist Pandemic Relief
Volunteers are currently collecting information for this fund aimed at giving aid to disabled creators and artists who’ve lost income due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dramatists Guild Foundation
This fund provides emergency financial assistance to individual playwrights, composers, lyricists, and bookwriters in dire need of funds due to severe hardship or unexpected illness.
Equal Sound Corona Relief Fund
Provides monetary support to musicians who have lost income due to a canceled gig as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grants
Emergency Grants provide urgent funding for visual and performing artists who have sudden, unanticipated opportunities to present their work to the public when there is insufficient time to seek other sources of funding; or incur unexpected or unbudgeted expenses for projects close to completion with committed exhibition or performance dates.
Freelancers Union Freelancers Relief Fund
Freelancers Relief Fund will offer financial assistance of up to $1,000 per freelance household to cover lost income and essential expenses not covered by government relief programs, including food/food supplies; utility payments; cash assistance to cover income loss.
GoFundMe: Queer Writers of Color Relief Fund
This fund is to help at least 100 queer writers of color who have been financially impacted by the current COVID-19. Priority will be given to queer trans women of color and queer disabled writers of color, but I hope this relief fund will help many queer writers of color it can.
Gottlieb Emergency Grant Program
This emergency grant provides financial assistance to painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs are the result of an unforeseen incident, and who lack the resources to meet that situation.
Idea Awards COVID-19 Response Grant Lottery
You are eligible to enter the lottery for a grant of $2500 from the Bret Adams & Paul Reisch Foundation if you are: a playwright, composer, lyricist, or librettist; have had a full professional production (defined for these purposes as a LORT, Off-Broadway, or Broadway full production, not a reading or workshop) of which you are a writer that was cancelled, closed, or indefinitely postponed due to the COVID-19 closures.
Jazz Foundation Musicians Emergency Fund
Musicians who have made a living playing blues, jazz, and roots music can apply for emergency funding from the Jazz Foundation.
Kinkade Family Foundation Emergency Grant for Curators
This emergency grant provides funding for a curatorial project that sheds light on the world during this time of darkness. Priority will be given to curators who have a venue secured for their project and are greatly impacted by the challenges we are facing due to COVID-19.
MusiCares
Music industry professionals may apply for basic living assistance (rent or mortgage). Initial grant requests can be made up to $1000 to compensate for cancelled work that was scheduled and lost.

Provides financial assistance to musicians and their families in times of need, crisis or transition.
New Music Solidarity Fund
The New Music Solidarity Fund is designed to help new/creative/improvised music freelancers whose livelihood has been threatened as a result of performances that have been canceled during the COVID-19 crisis. The Fund was started by a group of musicians in the new music community who have raised over $130,000 in a week, primarily from fellow musicians, composers, and music professionals. Their hope is that the Solidarity Fund will continue to grow in the coming weeks so that they can assist and bolster more people in need of emergency relief. For now, at least two hundred and sixty, $500 emergency assistance grants will be made available to applicants who meet certain criteria.
PEN American Writer’s Emergency Fund
This fund is for professional (published or produced) writers and editors who are in acute financial crisis. PEN America writes on their site that they’ll be updating with more critical information on March 25.
The Photographer Fund
A $25,000 fund to help photographers impacted by COVID-19. Assistance of up to $500 per person will be offered at the organization’s discretion to determine who gets the funds.
Pillars Rapid Response Fund
A fund to support the personal expenses of Muslim artists and activists whose livelihoods are being negatively impacted by this current moment. $500 grants will be given to individuals through a short application process.
Queer Writers of Color Relief Fund
This fund is to help queer writers of color who have been financially impacted by the current COVID-19. Priority will be given to queer trans women of color and queer disabled writers of color.
Rapid Response: Racism is a Virus Too
This rapid respond fund is geared towards community-based organizations who work predominantly with Asian American communities, in response to hate crimes and bias against Asian American communities because of COVID-19.
Rauschenberg Emergency Grants
Provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for unexpected medical emergencies. The grants are available to visual and media artists and choreographers who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents in the United States, District of Columbia, or U.S. Territories.
Sweet Relief COVID-19 Fund
Sweet Relief has created this donor-directed fund with a limited amount of funds available to be used specifically for musicians and music industry workers affected by the Coronavirus. Funds raised will go towards medical expenses, lodging, clothing, food and other vital living expenses to those impacted due to sickness or loss of work.
TrickleUp
An artists helping artists network. With 10,000 subscribers at $10 a month, they can give $10,000 to 10 different artists affected by the Covid-19 cancelations. And every month 10 new artists in need will get $10,000. If the goal is surpassed, more people will get help.
Twenty Summers Emergency Arts Fund
An Emergency Arts Fund for artists (up to $500) and arts organizations (up to $1k) suffering from unexpected and unmanageable financial loss as a result of the Coronavirus.
What the Fund
Grant program to benefit select artists who are being impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Grant recipients will be chosen by a board of fellow creators. Patreon is kicking off the grant by donating $10K, and is accepting contributions from anyone who can help.
